  1. The best advice you ever got: Start paying into your 401k from day 1.
  2. Your three goals for 2019: Sleep at least 7 hrs of sleep every day, get fluent enough in German to talk to my German friends' 6 year old daughter when they visit, and run two Ragnar races.
  3. If you weren’t doing this… I’d be a mechanic.  If there’s a world where I can work 3 days a week as an accountant and two days as a mechanic, I want in.
  4. What you do when you’re not at work: run (stress relieving, cathartic, freeing), watch/play sports, anything history related, camping, water skiing, concerts, visiting breweries 
  5. Hometown? Williston, VT
  6. Where did you go to college? Northeastern University
  7. Who would you want to play you in a movie some day? Ryan Reynolds. His movies aren’t always that great, but I’ve been a fan since Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place
  8. What’s your favorite color? Judging from my closet, I would have to say blue.
  9. What was the last song you listened to? Youth of the Nation – P.O.D.
  10. What was the last book you read? Born to Run by Christopher McDougal (I enjoy this book so much, I have given a copy of it to at least 4 different people)
  11. What was the last TV show you watched? Shark Tank
  12. What was the last movie you saw? A Dog’s Way Home
  13. Do you have any pets? What are their names? Unfortunately no ☹ Hopefully a dog someday soon!
  14. Where is your favorite place to vacation? Still trying to find my favorite place, and haven’t been there yet, but Hawaii sure looks pretty awesome!
  15. What’s your favorite quote? Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
  16. Who would you most like to have dinner with someday? Tedy Bruschi
  17. What was your first job? Dishwasher at a diner without air conditioning during the summer. Needless to say, I moved on to other employment not long after.
  18. What’s your favorite food? Steak
  19. What’s your favorite restaurant? Grill 23. I think I’ve tried all the other big time steakhouses in Boston, and Grill 23 is still my favorite.
  20. What is your favorite benefit the MSCPA offers? CPE Tracker
  21. What organizations do you like to give back to/volunteer for? The Angel Fund, ALS TDI, MS Association, MS Society, Alzheimer’s Association 
  22. What about accounting excites you the most? The challenges that come with new and updated standards, and constantly striving to increase the value of the information provided in the financial statements.
