  1. The best advice you ever got: You are the CEO of your life. Build a personal board of directors consisting of mentors, sponsors, advisors, and anyone who challenges, inspires, and supports you!
  2. Your three goals for the year: 1) Learn as much as possible, make connections, and crush it during my co-op and internship. Focus on personal and professional development 2) Develop a new skill/pick up a new hobby (I chose coding & voiceover acting) 3) Go to 5 new cities for my current book tour and get a book deal for my second book!
  3. If you weren’t doing this… Work in healthcare, media, tech, or fashion -- but honestly l love the accounting/financial services career path because it combines my technical and soft skills and I get exposure to different industries

  14. Where is your favorite place to vacation? anywhere warm :) I had the opportunity to visit Denmark, Iceland, and Sweden this past summer and it was amazing! I'd like to go to a few countries in South America next

  16. Who would you most like to have dinner with someday? I want to have a dinner party with Oprah, Sallie Krawcheck, Mindy Kaling, Robert Smith, Trevor Noah, Allie Wong, Steven Colbert, Ashley Graham, Michelle Obama, Naomi Campbell, and Will Smith -- and they can all bring +1s too
  17. What was your first job? founding and running my organization, OpportuniMe 
  18. What’s your go-to joke? How does NASA organize a party? They planet
  19. What’s your favorite food? shrimp pasta and tacos and mozzarella sticks are a close second

  21. What word do you think you say the most every day? At work, "workpapers" or "balance"
  22. What is your favorite benefit the MSCPA offers? Community, knowledge/resources about the accounting field and scholarships
  23. What organizations do you like to give back to/volunteer for? Invest In Girls, Diamond Challenge, Budget Buddies, Women's Foundation of Boston
  24. What about accounting excites you the most? I will always be learning new skills and meeting brilliant, interesting people!
