The leading edge of the baby boomer generation has already reached retirement age. Financial and tax planners can expect increased demand for strategies that dovetail Social Security with other retirement and estate planning objectives. This course provides tax and financial planning professionals with both the background information on the Social Security system and the strategies clients will need in dealing with Social Security, and the myriad other related retirement planning issues.

This course qualifies for reimbursement through the state’s Workforce Training Express Fund. Firms/companies with fewer than 50 staff can be reimbursed up to 100% of the cost of training and firms/companies with 50-100 employees can be reimbursed up to 50% of the cost of training. You must register for the course and apply for reimbursement through the Workforce Training Express Fund website a minimum of three weeks prior to the start of the course. John Kilroy is a managing member of iValue Financial Planning LLC, located in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. John engages clients in financial and tax planning, as well as preparing tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts. John is a CPA and a CFP® practitioner. He is a 1979 graduate of Villanova University with a BS in Accounting. John is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Within the FPA, John has served as a board member of the Philadelphia Tri-State chapter and on its education and finance committees.
