CEO Corner
|
Dear Hannah,
This was a very exciting week at the Society. As you may know, on Wednesday, we unveiled a new visual identity for the Massachusetts Society of CPAs – MassCPAs!
With new generations of CPAs entering the profession, it was time to refresh our look to ensure we continue to appeal and be magnetic to members and future CPAs. The move from MSCPA to MassCPAs clearly shows who the Society connects, protects and advances — Massachusetts CPAs. It also distinguishes us from the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention and Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) and the Montana Society of CPAs (also MSCPA). MACPA is already in use by the Maryland Society of CPAs. We worked in close
collaboration with our Board of Directors after gathering feedback from our members throughout this process.
It’s important to note that this isn’t a change to our name. We’re just giving our acronym and logo an update, so we look as progressive as our forward-thinking initiatives. To learn more about our new look, visit masscpas.org/masscpas.
I hope you’ll be proud to promote your membership in MassCPAs and that you’ll find our new look and feel to be reflective of the vibrant organization you’re proud to call your local, professional home.
Lastly, the Society’s office will be closed on Monday, September 6 for Labor Day. Have a great weekend, and a healthy, happy New Year to those who celebrate!
Amy Pitter
MassCPAs President and CEO
