CEO Corner

Dear Hannah,

In times of change and disruption, strong leaders are needed in the accounting profession – and that has never been truer than it is right now. Members have asked for help reskilling their staff, so they can advance and help their firms and companies grow and take on different types of business. We listened to your feedback and created a series to do just that, and I’m thrilled to announce our new Leadership Series will kick off on September 28!

This five-part, virtual series is designed for manager and senior manager level staff to give them the skills they need to be an effective leader and drive results at their firms and organizations. Some of our most popular speakers will provide training on business strategy and strategic planning, communication, becoming a business advisor, defining your leadership style and more.

For details and to register, please click here. You could be reimbursed for sessions through the state’s Workforce Training Express Fund. To qualify, you must register and apply for reimbursement through the Fund three weeks prior to the session. Click here for more information or contact Julia Ekelund at jekelund@masscpas.org.

The Leadership Series was created with input from our members, and personally, I am proud to help develop the next generation of leaders in accounting. Thank you for your feedback, and please continue to share your ideas with us!

Have a great weekend!
