CEO Corner
|
Dear INSERT_FIRST_NAME,
Happy New Year! While I hate to start 2022 with frustration and unease, the continuation of COVID-19 and its string of variants has left many of us feeling this way. In fact, uncertainty was the top concern for both CPAs and their clients in a recent survey of MassCPAs members. And with busy season looming, finding answers and a clear path forward are a priority for many of us.
That’s why I encourage you to attend our State Tax Conference next Thursday, January 13, and Friday, January 14. Held in a virtual format over two half-days, this conference features top experts who will help you prepare for busy season. We’ll cover:
- Tax law changes
- Consequences of remote workers for employers and employees
- Pass-through Entity (PTE) taxes
- State tax technology
- Estate, gift and income tax reform
- Sales/use tax for contractors
- Federal and state credits and incentives
- State and local tax policy
- Updates from the DOR, Appellate Tax Board and MassCPAs government affairs team
Click here to register and join the 300+ attendees already registered (see the list here). You won’t want to miss out on this opportunity to get up to speed on the latest changes, so you can enter busy season with confidence. I hope to “see” you there!
While so much is uncertain, one thing you can count on is that MassCPAs has your back. Please feel welcome to reach out to me at any time to discuss ways we can help you, your firm or organization in 2022 and beyond.
Stay well and have a great weekend!
