has arrived!
Betnley
CEO Corner

Dear Hannah,

This summer has been one for the books, and it’s understandable that many of you have not been able to focus on meeting your CPE requirements for renewal. But September 30 will be here before you know it — that’s the deadline for even-year licensees to fulfill your CPE requirements and renew your license with the Board of Public Accountancy.

The MSCPA successfully advocated on your behalf for this deadline extension because of COVID-19. Then, we expanded our library of CPE offerings for you to take full advantage of the extra time. But don’t wait until September 30 to submit your information! Use the CPE Tracker—free for all members—on our website to check your CPE credits now and prepare to finalize your requirements.

The CPE Tracker automatically records CPE credits you’ve taken through the MSCPA and allows you to manually input courses taken with other providers. Your Tracker can also be saved as a PDF file for easy reporting to the Board.

Here’s how it works:
  1. Visit mscpaonline.org/tracker;
  2. Select your renewal year and click “submit”;
  3. Select the date range to pull your course history and click “search”; and
  4. Click “save as PDF” to save your report for easy uploading to the Board’s website.
So, take a few minutes this afternoon to check your CPE Tracker. Then, if you need a few more credits, browse through our extensive online course listing to find the offering that is just right for you.

If you have any questions about the CPE Tracker, please contact our staff at mscpa@mscpaonline.org or 617.556.4000. They will be happy to help you.

Lastly, the Society’s office will be closed on Monday, September 7 for Labor Day. Have a great weekend!
