has arrived!
CEO Corner

Dear Hannah,

In honor of our year of Diversity and Inclusion, our annual Women's Leadership Summit will feature two powerful speakers: Kim Drumgo and Terri Trespicio. Kim is the is the director of diversity and inclusion at the AICPA where she provides expertise in driving cultural change through cross-functional team engagement and inspiring a community of understanding. Her presentation will explore the key characteristics of an inclusive leader and how they are helping to grow the accounting profession. Terri is an award-winning writer, speaker and brand advisor who works with individuals and organizations to help nail their messaging and engage clients, customers and fans. Her TEDx talk, "Stop Searching for Your Passion," has more than five million views to date and she was recently named by HubSpot as one of the "Top 15 female speakers who are killing it." In her presentation, Terri will share how to tap into your greatest resource to create a life that matters.

I'm so excited to learn from Kim and Terri, and I'm also thrilled to hear from our 2019 Women to Watch Award winners. At the Summit, we will celebrate these seven exceptional women who have given so much to their firms, communities, the Society and to the overall profession. Hearing these extraordinary women discuss their career paths, their obstacles and their achievements is always inspirational. They are real role models for other women in accounting, and they're changing our profession for the better. It's an honor to be surrounded by this incredible group, and I hope you will join us at this special event.

The Summit will take place on October 24 at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf. Please click here to register. You can also preview a list of attendees here. I hope to see you there!

Have a great weekend!
