Dear Hannah,
From time to time, I'd like to use this space to introduce you to our team at the Society. Today, I'd like you to meet Beth Lyons, our COO, who is truly also the backbone of our organization.
For 42 years, she has been working for the MSCPA, witnessing first hand the evolving profession and the growth of our members. We all value Beth, not just for her institutional knowledge, but for her uncommon good sense, warmth and amazing people skills. She has worn many hats during her time at the Society; many of our members have connected with her through peer review, membership programs and at our networking events. An avid golfer, Beth lives in Millbury with her husband Paul and loves spending
time with her two young granddaughters and the rest of her family.
We're extremely fortunate to have Beth on our team, and I look forward to introducing you to the rest our staff within the next few months!

UFR Training and State Compliance (Half-Day 8/7; Full-Day 8/21)
Learn the finer points of preparing the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Uniform Financial Statement, define the Schedule B program and the types and requirements as outlined in the Audit & Preparation Manual, including Chapter 257, look at statistics from the 2016 UFR database and review many common filing mistakes. The half-day session is 4 CPE credits and the full-day session is 8 CPE credits.
