Friday@Five
has arrived!
CEO Corner

Dear Hannah,

I’m excited to announce this week that we have launched a compensation and benefits survey for public accounting firms in the state. We know how beneficial the results will be to you, as we document current average pay levels and benefits offered in Massachusetts.

The survey went out this week to managing partners, HR staff and firm administrators, so please check your inbox and email Kara Kieran, MSCPA senior director of member engagement, if your firm did not receive the email. To ensure that we can get you a timely report, please complete your survey by Friday, September 18.

Our goal is to receive a large sample from firms of all sizes. Each participant who has submitted a complete survey will receive a free copy of the final report when it is released in late October.

Survey participation is completely confidential. In fact, we are working with an independent association researcher, Kevin Whorton, to develop the survey and analyze the results. Kevin has done many of these surveys for other organizations and understands the importance of protecting confidentiality in the report, including from our survey sponsor. Kevin will store and analyze the data, protecting the privacy of all participants.

I wish to send a huge thank you to our sponsor, Integrated Partners, for their support of this important project. And thanks to all of you and your firms for helping us gather this important information about pay and benefits.

Have a great weekend!

Amy Pitter
MSCPA President/CEO
