CEO Corner

Dear Hannah,

Last week, the Society unveiled the new HUB, our online community. For the last five years, The HUB has been the go-to resource for our members to connect on hot topics, share insights and seek advice. We are committed to providing you with an exceptional user experience, and we appreciate your feedback as we transition to the new system.

Here are five things to know:
  1. Daily Digest and Email Notifications: Whitelist noreply@hub.mscpaonline.org to make sure you receive the daily emails. If you’d like to receive immediate notification of discussions, you can change your email notifications here (under Group Specific Emails). Searching for previous Daily Digests? Check your spam and trash folders. Initially, the email was sent from “MSCPA” but as of Thursday, July 8 “The HUB” is the sender.

  2. Logging In: On The HUB, click “Login to Website” which will prompt you to enter your login information for mscpaonline.org. After you login, you will automatically be redirected to The HUB and already signed in.

  3. Replying to Posts: Click “Reply Privately” or “Reply to Group” in the Daily Digest email. Or you can reply directly to the post on The HUB.

  4. Posting a Discussion: After you have signed in, you can post a discussion on the homepage under “Start a Discussion” (right below the banner).

  5. Older Threads:  All earlier discussions, files, documents were carried over to the new system, so you can still access them.
As you know, moving to a new software comes with glitches along the way, and we thank you for your cooperation during this change. We have heard and understand your frustrations, and we are working with our vendor on some adjustments to make this a better platform for all our members, so stay tuned for updates. If you run into any issues, please reach out to Kara Kieran at kkieran@mscpaonline.org. You can also view this guide for more information.

Have a great weekend!
