CEO Corner
|
Dear Hannah,
With technology advancements and the COVID-19 pandemic, the way CPA firms are operating today – and will work in the future – is changing at a rapid pace. For firm leaders, it can be hard to keep up with everything you need to do, and this is especially true at small firms. I’m happy to share some ways that we can help!
Our new Small Firms Speaker Series will launch in August and features top thought leaders who will cover important topics firms need to know to succeed in today’s climate, including HR, strategy, cybersecurity, pricing and technology. We understand how busy you are, so we’ve divided the series into five separate sessions – you can attend all or choose the topics that matter most to your firm! To learn more, click here.
In recent months, we’ve noticed members want more opportunities to connect, ask questions and share resources with their peers. In addition to the HUB, our virtual regional roundtables and committee meetings are popular ways for members to interact and gain valuable insight into hot topics. I’m excited to announce that our Virtual Small Firm Roundtables will return in August and encourage you to join local peers at one of our eight online meetings. To learn more, click here. Please note that registration is limited, so we ask that you register for the meeting closest to your geographic location.
Opportunities like this are the direct result of feedback from our members, and we’re always looking for ways to better serve you. Please feel welcome to share your ideas with me directly at apitter@mscpaonline.org. I look forward to working with you and wish you all a wonderful weekend!
Amy Pitter
MSCPA President/CEO
