has arrived!
CEO Corner

Dear Hannah,

As we close out the month of June, I wanted to take a moment to remind you of two important deadlines. First and foremost, if 2020 is your reporting year, please know that the deadline for CPE requirements and to renew your license is now September 30. The MSCPA successfully advocated for this extension on your behalf, and we've expanded our library of CPE offerings to help you fulfill your requirements.

It's important to note, however, that you do not need to wait until September 30 to renew your license. When you're ready to renew, just upload your record to the Board of Public Accountancy, and credits earned after that time will count towards your 2022 renewal.

To access your record, check out your CPE Tracker, which automatically records credits taken through the MSCPA and allows you to input courses taken with other providers. The Tracker is available to you at no cost, as a benefit of your membership, and your record can be saved as a PDF file for easy reporting to the Board. To get started, click here.

Secondly, next Tuesday, June 30 is the last day to submit a nomination for our 12th Annual Women to Watch Awards. We are looking to recognize women who have made contributions to the profession and the communities in which they live and work. Awards will be presented to both Emerging Leaders (less than 15 years of experience) and Experienced Leaders (15 or more years of experience) at our Women's Leadership Virtual Summit this fall. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize outstanding women in our profession, and I hope you'll consider nominating a colleague, co-worker and/or friend. To submit a nomination, click here

Lastly, the MSCPA's office will be closed on Friday, July 3 to observe Independence Day. I wish you all a wonderful and safe weekend!

MSCPA President/CEO
