CEO Corner

Dear Hannah,

It seems like the time since May 17 has flown by, and now we are facing some important June 30 deadlines, including license renewals. We do not anticipate an extension of the deadline this year, so for odd-year licensees, it’s less than two weeks away! If your renewal is coming up, please remember to access MSCPA’s CPE Tracker, free to all MSCPA members, for a simple way to make sure you have the credits you need. For directions on how to export your CPE record to your license renewal form, click here. For easy access to our entire library of CPE seminars, webinars and conferences, click here.

The code to renew your license with the Board of Public Accountancy can be found here. Please ensure that the Board has your correct address on file. To access your ePLACE Portal account, click here. For a step-by-step guide on how create an ePLACE Portal account and to renew your license, click here.

June 30 is also the deadline to submit nominations for our 13th Annual Women to Watch Awards! If you know a woman in accounting who is an amazing contributor to her firm or company, to her community and to the profession, we want to celebrate her! Click here for details and to submit a nomination.

Lastly, adding Juneteenth to the federal calendar is an important step as we acknowledge and celebrate Black freedom, culture and history. This is an opportunity to continue to learn, connect with each other and reflect on how we can move forward. There is much to be done, and I look forward working together to achieve permanent and lasting change.

Have a great weekend!
