Accounting Practice Sales
CEO Corner

Dear Hannah,

With Massachusetts lifting its COVID-19 restrictions, I am so excited to announce that in-person events will resume in this fall! We can’t wait to see our members and share a laugh (and a glass of wine). One of my favorite events that is returning is the Women’s Leadership Summit, and the highlight of that event is celebrating our exceptional 2021 Women to Watch. Nominations are open right now, and with so many outstanding women in the profession, I encourage you to submit one. We are looking to recognize women who represent the diversity in our profession – from all sizes of firms and companies throughout the state – who are making a real impact in their communities. The winners will be selected by a panel of judges who look for women who are:
  • Role models/mentors,
  • Experienced (established members of the profession) or emerging (fewer than 15 years of experience) leaders at her firm/company,
  • Committed to the accounting profession,
  • Active and making a difference in her community, and
  • Dedicated to being her best self, both in and out of the office.
To nominate an outstanding woman, click here. The deadline is Wednesday, June 30!

Celebrating our members is one of our favorite things, and we are always looking to feature members in upcoming issues of SumNews magazine and on our social media. Do you know (or maybe you are) someone with an interesting hobby, unique skill or great story? Were you recently promoted and making an impact at your firm or company? Let us know by contacting Hannah Naranjo

I hope you have a great long weekend! It’s the kickoff to summer, but also an important time to remember those who have given their lives for our freedom, and to honor the sacrifices they have made for all of us
