CEO Corner
|
Dear Hannah,
Normally I would be using this space to remind you of our wonderful Annual Meeting and Networking Reception, but sadly, that will have to wait. However, we do still have the business of the Annual Meeting to attend to, so this year, the MSCPA will hold its first ever electronic vote to ratify the 2020-2021 Board of Directors officers and the new class of directors. Please take a moment to learn about the slate of nominees here. We ask that you take this brief survey before May 18 to cast your vote to approve these nominees. You will also receive an email from us on Monday with a link to this survey, so be on the lookout for that next week.
In other virtual news, our spring conferences - Employee Benefit Plan, Accounting & Auditing and Government Accounting & Auditing - are now virtual. You will still hear from the same excellent speakers and have the quality experience you expect from us. We are also taking our seminars virtual and adding webinars throughout the spring and into the summer to make sure that you have the information you need to thrive, and to help your clients succeed, even in these difficult times. To learn more, visit our website.
I hope you all have a good weekend – I am counting on some good weather and the opportunity, with my mask on, to get outside a bit. Stay healthy and safe!
Amy Pitter
MSCPA President/CEO
