CEO Corner

Dear Hannah,
For those of you who were able to attend our free stress management webinar the other day, we learned a couple of things. One is that we are all under more stress than ever. And two, that physical exercise is one of the best stress reducers available. With that in mind, the MSCPA is excited to bring back our popular Fitness Challenge to help you stay healthy and active over the next few months. Sponsored by ConnectPay, this friendly competition is a great way for your office to come together as a team to out-step other challengers!
The fifth annual Fitness Challenge will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 4, and end at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, April 15. If you plan to participate, please make sure your team captain has signed up your team by Wednesday, February 3. Steps will be tracked using the ChallengeRunner app or by manually inputting them via ChallengeRunner.com. To sign up and to join/create your team, click here.
Team totals will be calculated by average steps, and teams can include up to 50 participants (individuals are encouraged to sign up as well). Awards will be based on the following team sizes, and we’ll also have an overall winner:
- 1 (individual team);
- 2-10 team members;
- 11-20 team members;
- 21-30 team members; and
- 31-50 team members.
Please contact Hannah Naranjo at hnaranjo@mscpaonline.org if you have questions or need assistance. We have also compiled this FAQ sheet that covers all the essential information you need. We hope this challenge brings some stress relief to you during busy season and gives you a jump-start to stay active throughout 2021!
And finally, congratulations to AAFCPAs on winning last night’s Virtual Trivia Night, and thank you to ConnectPay for sponsoring the event!
Have a great weekend!
