Friday@Five
has arrived!
CEO Corner

Dear Hannah:

Thank you to the 800+ of you who attended Federal Tax Camp this week! We've heard wonderful feedback from you about this conference, and I hope the information from our tax guru Sue Smith, CPA will help you have a smooth busy season!

At the Society, Tax Camp signifies that the end of the year is fast approaching. Many of us look at the New Year as a fresh start. One of my goals in 2020 is to do more to help you learn and network in your career. Coming together with your peers to share ideas, challenges and resources is one of the most valuable aspects of membership, and that's why I'm so excited for our Firm Administrator/Operations Manager Luncheon on January 24! We're bringing back this popular event so members can get a jumpstart on 2020 by hearing about industry trends that are impacting their firms, discussing best practices and lessons learned ahead of busy season and meeting with MSCPA staff to discover how their firms can get involved in the year ahead. I strongly encourage all firm administrators and staff who manage firm operations to attend this two-hour lunch, which will take place at McLane Middleton in Woburn. To learn more and to register, please click here.

This is just one of the many events to come in 2020. You can learn about all our upcoming events and programs here. Many of our plans are still in the works, so check back often (you can also find updates in future issues of Friday@Five)!

Have a great weekend!

Please note: We're currently experiencing issues with our phone system. If you call and get our general voicemail, please leave a message that's specific about the issue you're calling about and the person you'd like to speak with. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working on resolving the issue.
