Friday@Five
has arrived!
CEO Corner

Dear Hannah,

Greetings from Foxwoods! I'm writing to you from our annual New England Practice Management (MAP) Conference and have spent the last three days networking with 160 firm leaders and learning from experts in the accounting industry. Conversations have centered on the latest trends transforming how firms operate and what we should do now to adapt to the sweeping changes affecting our industry. This conference was developed by the MSCPA's Management of an Accounting Practice (MAP) Committee, and I'd like to thank them, our sponsors and Society staff for not only making the conference possible, but for making it a roaring success! To learn more about the MAP Committee, click here.

While it's been an inspiring few days of sharing and exploring strategies to help firms get ready for the future, we also recognize that that many of you are starting to gear up for another tax season. The MSCPA is here to help you prepare, and we're bringing back Sue Smith, CPA to host our Federal Tax Camps on December 11, 12 and 13! Sue will be joining us again to share her expertise and update us on the most important legislative and regulatory developments as well as major trends and changes in the case law. This conference was so popular that we expanded it to three locations this year and will also host a broadcast version on December 11! Click here to reserve your spot. I look forward to seeing you there!

Lastly, the MSCPA will be closed next Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. The next issue of Friday@Five will be on Friday, December 6. I wish you all a wonderful holiday!
