CEO Corner

Dear Hannah,

MAP 2020 is almost here!

I can’t believe we’re only a few weeks away from the 2020 New England Practice Management (MAP) Virtual Conference. While MAP will look different than previous years, the MSCPA staff has worked hard to give you an outstanding experience. Have you registered you and your team yet?

As we developed this year’s event, we combined the best parts of MAP with new ways for you to take advantage of the offerings online. This means we brought back top speakers and the popular roundtables. But new this year, we created customized tracks for emerging leaders and firm operations staff, to make it easier for you to get your entire staff involved in this online learning opportunity. We also have group pricing; you can get all the details by calling us at 617.556.4000 or emailing email Katlyn Ribeiro

One more new option is the complimentary exhibit hall passes. These are for members who want to connect with solution providers and browse vendor content, but who do not plan to attend educational sessions for CPE credit.

So, while I will miss seeing everyone in person, I look forward to seeing you online soon! Please check out the agenda and register on our website

This week you should have received an email with a link to the MSCPA 2020 Member Needs Assessment Study. It should only take about 10 minutes to complete. Your feedback is critical to helping us make sure the Society’s resources and efforts are relevant and beneficial to you and to the profession. And, in appreciation of your participation, you will have an opportunity to enter a drawing for a chance to win one of 10 $50 Amazon gift cards.

As we wrap up the month, please remember that the deadline for early registration for your .cpa domain is tomorrow, Saturday, October 31. To apply for a domain, visit domains.cpa. This website also offers a wealth of resources about .cpa, including a white paper, FAQs and information for the new service.

And if you haven’t voted already, be sure to have a voting plan in place so you will be all ready to go vote in person on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.

And finally, have a fun and safe Halloween!
