CEO CORNER

Dear Hannah,

I am pleased to announce that our 2017 Women to Watch Award winners have been selected! We had 20 nominations and it was a very difficult decision for the judging panel. In fact, they were so impressed with the nominations this year that they decided to create a new award category separated from both the Emerging and Experienced Leaders categories – a Professional Associate Leader category. Congratulations to these seven outstanding women:

Professional Associate Leader (non-CPA)
  • Casey J. Blake, Marketing Manager, Edelstein & Company LLP
Emerging Leaders (fewer than 15 years in the profession)
  • Sandra E. Costa, CPA, Assurance Senior Manager, PwC
  • Laura L. Felice, CPA, CGMA, SVP Finance, Controller, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc.
  • Sarah E. Shaw, CPA, Tax Senior Manager, RSM
Experienced Leaders (15 or more years in the profession)
  • Jennifer L. Gaudet, CPA, Partner, PwC
  • Julie M. Quink, CPA, CFE, Managing Principal, Burkhart, Pizzanelli, P.C.
  • Jennifer C. Williams, CPA, MBA, Partner, Director of Operations, McLaren & Associates CPAs, PC
The winners will be recognized at the Women’s Leadership Summit on November 7 at the Westin Waterfront in Boston. To register for this spectacular event, click here.

Congratulations again to this year’s winners! Have a great weekend!
