Dear Hannah,
There’s no doubt we live in interesting times, but did you know the CPA profession will be “unrecognizable” within 10 years? According to AICPA President and CEO Barry Melancon, CPA, CGMA, cybersecurity, blockchain, artificial intelligence and technology will leave most practices radically altered – and these changes are starting now. Melancon will come to Massachusetts on November 2 to discuss the very real forces that are changing the accounting profession, and how MSPCA members must evolve to stay ahead – and remain in business. I strongly encourage you to attend this presentation, and you can register for it here.
There will also be a pre-session for members who sit on boards or advisory councils of colleges and universities. To attend that session, please contact me directly at apitter@mscpaonline.org.
Have a great weekend!
MSCPA President/CEO
