Dear Hannah,

As I turned my calendar to June this week, I felt like I was entering a new chapter. June is an exciting month at the Society. We’re hosting events designed to help you increase diversity at your firms, build your network and get involved in your communities. It all kicks off with our annual Women’s Golf Outing and Clinic next Wednesday. While I’m not a pro at the sport, I enjoy getting out on the course and networking with our members and their clients. I hope to see you on the links!

However, June can be a stressful time for those who have a June 30 reporting deadline. If you’re one the many CPAs who has yet to satisfy your 80 hours, you’re in luck. The MSCPA has planned several conferences, seminars and webinars this month, so you can meet the deadline. Need ethics? We’ve got it. Accounting and auditing? We’ve got that too. Government accounting standards? You bet! Whatever piques your interest and fulfills your needs, we’re here to help. Click here to see all of our June programs. I hope this month you meet all of your goals – professionally and personally. We’re here to help you every step of the way!

Have a great weekend.
