Dear
Hannah: Congratulations to those of you
who just finished your busy season! Before you check out for a while, please note that we have just sent our invoices for dues for the fiscal year,
beginning May 1. You can renew your membership
here. I want to thank each and every
one of you for your support of the Society and the profession. Many of you maintain membership for access to our programs and resources –
learning and development, networking events, publications and newsletters. What you might not know is that by renewing your membership, you are also
investing in the future of accounting. Your dues support our student outreach to attract more young people to the profession, and we are now working
with high school and even middle school students through our involvement with the STEM council. Your dues also support our advocacy work with the
Board of Public Accountancy, the DOR and the State House.
We strive to bring you opportunities to grow and advance in your career, and we will soon launch new initiatives that will deliver on
that promise in the year ahead. I look forward to providing you with a detailed Society update at our Annual Meeting next Wednesday. I hope to see many of you there! I also want to send my wishes for a very happy
Passover to those who are celebrating (Chag Pesach Sameach)!
