Dear Hannah,
It’s April 13, which means that for our members in public accounting, it’s hard to think about anything other than the looming deadline. Please know that everyone at the Society is thinking of you and wishing you a successful finish to the season – and some rest when it’s over. But, there is one other thing: the DOR looks to us for feedback and advice on how the filing season went so they can make improvements for next year, and the MSCPA is scheduling a formal debrief. Please send your complaints, compliments, advice and ideas to either me at apitter@mscpaonline.org or Government Affairs Director Zach Donah at zdonah@mscpaonline.org. Zach and the MSCPA’s tax committee will also host a debrief at the committee’s meeting on April 24, which is another great opportunity to provide meaningful feedback. Until then, good luck and don’t forget to eat, sleep and breathe! And to our members running the Boston Marathon on Monday – have a great race!
