CEO MESSAGE
Dear Hannah,
We’ve heard from many members about various letters your clients have received from the Department of Revenue (DOR). We are working with them to
help them achieve their goals of minimizing fraud and underreporting, while achieving our goals of minimizing disruption and compliance burden to good
taxpayers. Here are the three most common notices we’ve seen:
- Verification letters;
- Changes to
partnership apportionment; and
- Underreporting of income.
Please click here for an overview from the DOR on underreporting of income
notices. For more information on all notices, click here. We will
continue to work closely with the DOR on your behalf, and we appreciate your feedback. Best wishes for a
smooth and notice-free end to tax season!
Have a great weekend!
