CEO MESSAGE
Dear Hannah, As you
know, fueling the CPA pipeline with a diverse candidate pool is a top priority at the Society. Last year, we launched our Diversity and Inclusion
Scholarship, awarded to three students who participated in CAMP (Careers in Accounting and Management Professions) – a specialized program
geared towards minority high school students interested in accounting and business careers. This talented group of young people will make a difference
in accounting – and I’m asking you to support them and help turn their dream of quality education into solid reality.
Our goal is to have each sponsor donate $500 for a scholarship for one
CAMP student as they enter their freshman year of college. This is a great opportunity to support the profession’s most promising candidates,
and a great first step to create meaningful, lasting relationships with these students, both as future mentees and interns (and perhaps, employees!).
To underscore the importance of this
scholarship, I will personally match three contributions. As a sponsor, you will also have an opportunity to meet these students at our Awards
Ceremony on May 17. To pledge your support, visit mscpaonline.org/edfoundation.
Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
Have a great weekend!
Amy Pitter MSCPA President/CEO
