CEO MESSAGE
Dear Hannah,
When I left public accounting to become treasurer of a
small company in the North End, I missed the camaraderie of my peers and incredible resources like
advice and mentoring. The Society can provide this for our members in industry, and thanks to RSM,
we are offering great information and networking to this important group!
Join us on Thursday, January 19 to discuss the role of
the chief financial officer (CFO) and the virtual CFO as it continues to expand and evolve. It is no
longer about compliance, accounting standards and accuracy. Providing key business insights that are
actionable is what distinguishes true business partners from providers of information. You’ll
hear from Ash Noah, vice president of the AICPA and RSM’s Bill Kracunas, partner and Northeast
technology consulting leader, as they discuss the future of finance and what is required to be a
different type of finance professional who no longer navigates, but co-pilots change that delivers
on strategic objectives. The event will end with cocktails and networking.
Register now – I hope to
see you there!
