Busy season is right around the corner, and we want to help make this your best one yet. I’m happy to announce that during tax season the MSCPA will host #CPATaxTalk on Twitter. Between February 5 and April 17, members can submit their best tax season advice for individuals or businesses, and we will post it to the Society’s Twitter account, @MASocietyofCPAs, and tag you/your firm. Submissions longer than 140 characters will also be posted as a resource on the Society’s website.

With over 6,000 followers, this is a great opportunity to get in front of potential clients and gain recognition for your firm. Whether it’s advice on how to avoid an audit, tips for late filers or trends you’re noticing as tax season progresses, we want to share it! Please contact Elizabeth Emanuelson at eemanuelson@mscpaonline.org for more information and to submit your tip.

Also during tax season, the MSCPA will continue to promote our Find A CPA Directory, where people go to search for a CPA based on their unique needs. There were over 4,000 visits to the Directory last year – and we expect that number to grow in the months ahead. If your firm is not one of the 81 firms already listed in the Directory, you can sign up here.
