CEO MESSAGE
Dear Hannah,
It’s hard to believe that our State Tax Conference is
only four days away. On Tuesday, you’ll hear updates from the DOR and an amazing lineup of tax experts who will provide you with all the
information you need for busy season. Come with questions ready, because we’ll have a Q&A with the experts to help you prepare for a
successful year ahead! January is a busy month
around here; we’re also gearing up for our Nonprofit
Conference, which is less than two weeks away. Recharge your passion for service with presentations from the Financial Accounting Standards Board
(FASB) and the AICPA that focus on recent developments in workplace law, internal controls and changes to financial reporting for nonprofits. Our agenda is jam packed with essential information that you can't get
anywhere else! The Society’s offices will
be closed on Monday. As we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., let us commit to doing our part to realize the dream for our
children, our communities and our nation that Dr. King imagined and spoke about so eloquently. Amy Pitter MSCPA President/CEO
