Dear Elizabeth:

I’m very excited to announce the launch of our interactive job board, the MSCPA Career Center, next Wednesday, July 1! With its focus on the accounting industry, the Career Center offers members an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections. We know how critical it is for employers in the accounting industry to attract first-rate talent with a minimum expenditure of time and resources, and we are very happy to be able to offer a resource that will help.

Employers can post jobs online, search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria, create an online resume agent to email qualified candidates daily and have easy access to online reporting that provides job activity statistics.

For job seekers, the Career Center is a free service that provides access to employers and jobs in the accounting industry. In addition to posting their resumes, job seekers can browse and view available jobs based on their criteria and save those jobs for later review. Job seekers can also create a search agent to provide email notifications of jobs that match their criteria.

The Society developed the Career Center in partnership with Boxwood Technology, Inc., the leading provider of career center services for the association industry, and the only such provider endorsed by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).

Want to give it a try? We are pleased to offer you one (1) free 30 day listing as an introduction. Please visit the MSCPA Career Center to create your account and post your job listing for FREE with code COMPPOST15. This offer expires on July 31, 2015.

Lastly, the Society will be closed next Friday for Independence Day. The next issue of this newsletter will be sent on July 10.
