CEO Corner
Dear INSERT_FIRST_NAME,

To our members who are focused on tax season (and to those of you who are not), I wanted to make you aware of a few key resources available to you, as part of your member perks:
  • The HUB, our online community where members post questions, discuss hot topics and get advice from their peers. With 11,000+ members, someone has the answer to your question and/or can point you in the right direction.

  • MassCPAs government affairs team is in constant contact with the Department of Revenue (DOR), advocating on your behalf. If you have an issue with the DOR, please contact us. We are also communicating with the AICPA on their plans to urge the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to take action to address poor service levels, and we were encouraged by their announcement this week that they are suspending automated notices. We will keep you informed as further progress is made.

  • We care about your health and wellness at all times of the year. Prioritizing mental health is critical, especially considering the last two years. To help, we are offering a free, three-part series on burnout, time management and setting limits. Our first session, Banish Burnout: What It Looks Like and How to Fix It, will be on Thursday, February 24. You can register here. Our 2022 Fitness Challenge also kicked off last week and we are proud to have 68 teams participating. Desktop Metal is in the lead with 187,962 total average steps – let’s keep it up!

  • Earn free CPE credits while learning about employee misconduct and cybercrime next Tuesday, February 15, and stock market investments on Wednesday, March 9. These webinars are free to you as part of our member-only CPE PLUS program.
MassCPAs will continue to add resources throughout the year to help you learn, connect and prosper in the profession. As always, please share your ideas with us – we are proud to be your local, professional home.

Have a great weekend!
